This website covers the topic of catching a taxi in Edinburgh Scotland and its area. Although the title of the website refers to taxi in the whole of Scotland, it looks like scotlandcabs.com serves Edinburg and its area. However the cabs ordered through the website can bring you anywhere in the United Kingdom and in Northern Ireland.
Which page of this website do you prefer? And why?
There is a page dedicated to display the vehicles used by the cab companies. No fancy cars but different vehicles adapted to the journey you need to make. We can only find a few luxury cars, most of the taxis are simple sedan that would be used every day. It’s a good sign to me as it shows that scotlandcabs.com takes interest in low gas consumption.
Which feature, section or aspect of the website convinced you the most?
All booking company of any type must have a booking engine that falls right to the eyes of the user. And indeed the user arrives on a banneer that gives a choice between making a quick booking or checking the taxi vehicles of the feet. It just takes a few scrolling to arrive to the booking Engine with which you will book your taxi in Edinburgh for a one or two way trip.
If you could suggest one improvement or evolution for this website, which one would it be?
This website deserves a refreshment in terms of design. A professional website designer could redo the general aspect to match users’ expectations. For example there is a Google map that won’t load if the user doesn’t allow it. There are other ways to build a CTA so that the user will open them up and book his taxi trip directly.
